ROMANO is a force to be reckon with, a man in whom you can always rely on. He is a bridge builder, an organizer, an achiever. In fact you can count & count, it is endless. In my small qualifications of him, he is full of experience. For PCN OF NIGERIA, MR G. VOLPI SHOULD HONORABLY LOOK FOR MR ROMANO to go back to Nigeria and start another proccses of seeing how he can rebuild that company again. This is because Tenaris plc, that took over from him has destroyed the company. It’s been about 6yrs since Mr Romano, handed over that PCN to TENARIS PLC IN NIGERIA, and nothing is going on there as we speak. The activities of that very company has came to a hault. They can’t even get any contract, not even for $1dollar. PCN now is in a very sorry state, no coating, the management has no idea of what to do or where to start from. It is a very big shame for Tenaris, I must say. I am very proud to associate my self with a man like Romano.
I thank you for the good memory you have of me, like many in Onne. Investor choices were part of a plan, perhaps not too well studied. Unfortunately, the oil crisis and the consequent Onne crisis have changed things. Now, here in Nigeria, I take care of other things … if investors will deem it appropriate, I am and I will always be ready to offer my experience.
